Little or only incomplete business data is available for various organic fruit crops. Past price negotiations, in which producer prices could be increased, have shown the importance of sound business management data. The availability of business management data is also important for advisory services. Over the next few years, therefore, missing or insufficient business management data will be collected for the various fruit crops and integrated into existing or new business management tools. This business management data will serve as a basis for calculating production costs and thus as a basis for setting producer prices.
