As the highest management body, the Foundation Council has the overall responsibility for the institute. It determines the focus of FiBL activities and acts as a public representative for the institute in strategic, thematic and financial matters.

The Management Board discusses and decides on FiBL's strategic and fundamental organisational activities within the framework of the focus set by the Foundation Council.

Executive Committee

The Executive Committee is responsible for the operational management and external representation of the entire institute within the framework of the focus set by the Foundation Council and the Management Board.
