As the highest management body, the Foundation Council has the overall responsibility for FiBL in Switzerland. It determines the focus of the activities and acts as a public representative for the institute in strategic, thematic and financial matters.

The Management Board is responsible for the operational management and external representation of the entire institute within the framework of the focus set by the Foundation Council and the Extended Management Board.
