Abstract

The Albert Koechlin foundation promotes regional organic farming, supports seminars and workshops on the topic of animal welfare, and individual advisory services in the areas of animal welfare and conversion to organic farming. It offers financial support for adapting the infrastructure of a farm and for developing short, regional market and processing chains of organic products.

FiBL experts are involved as advisors and are part of the decision-making committee (project advisory board).

Projects and farms are supported in the cantons of Lucerne, Uri, Schwyz, Ob- and Nidwalden.
