Based in Brussels and founded in 2017, FiBL Europe connects FiBL's scientific expertise with EU policymaking.
The FiBL Europe team has a sound understanding of EU policy and bridges the gap between science and politics. The team organises events, participates in expert groups with EU institutions, and supports FiBL researchers in project acquisition and coordination.
FiBL Europe's objectives are to
- Represent FiBL and its researchers towards EU institutions
- Facilitate science-policy dialogues around EU food and farming policy and organic agriculture
- Support researchers in acquiring and coordinating EU-funded projects
