"Biocontrol delivers crucial solutions to the transformation process towards sustainable agriculture. This is why this annual meeting for the biocontrol industry has evolved so successfully over the past 20 years and why it is so important– for the industry itself and for the whole of society", said Lucius Tamm, CEO of ABIM AG, on the occasion of the event's 20th anniversary.
The focus at this year's ABIM was on innovation and farmer experience. Farmers from three continents explained to the attendees how they use biocontrol on their farms. In addition to providing insights into the practical use of biocontrol on farms, the event featured sessions on innovation and AI, as well as a Start-Up Village. There were also workshops on formulation innovation and peptide regulation, offering a glimpse into the future of biocontrol.
