Abstract

Current sustainability assessment methods for the agriculture and food sector need complex data sets and are still limited in their significance and explanatory power. In this project, the sustainability assessment tool Sustainability Assessment and Monitoring RouTine (SMART) is further developed for efficient, practical and science-based sustainability assessment of food companies and other operators in the food chain.
