Eva Goldmann, agricultural expert and project leader at WWF Switzerland, is our next "Voice on climate". In this interview, she talks about her work in the context of agriculture and climate change, and what this year’s heatwave has meant for her.

For Eva Goldmann, agriculture plays a key role in climate protection. At the same time, she says, it is one of the sectors that feels the effects of climate change particularly early and directly. In the interview, Eva Goldmann discusses, amongst other things, how the WWF is working to find solutions together: "For example, we are involved in the Swiss Climate Alliance, which creates incentives for climate protection measures in agriculture," says Eva Goldmann, "whilst at the same time we are working to ensure that consumption and diet also become more sustainable." If meat sometimes costs less in shops than a plant-based alternative, something is going wrong.

Other topics covered in the interview with Eva Goldmann include climate protection as one of the cornerstones of the WWF's work, key areas of action in climate adaptation, and the political framework.
