How sustainable is my farm, my suppliers, or my entire supply chain? Using the SMART method and related tools, sustainability can be assessed and communicated efficiently. The method is suited to agricultural holdings and associated stakeholders, as well as to the scientific community and in development cooperation. SMART was developed by sustainability experts at FiBL on the basis of the SAFA guidelines. The tool undergoes constant development to remain up to date with the latest scientific findings.
