On the second day, the tour continued to the Saar for a visit of one of the oldest Vitiforst project vineyards together with the managing winemaker. Symposium Bio

The Symposium Bio took place on the 30th of November. The transformation of the food system towards sustainability is one of the big issues of the day. Politicians are addressing it, and the discussion has arrived in everyday life. But where is organic in this important discourse? The Symposium Bio closed the gap and presented answers to the question: What should a sustainable food system look like that can feed people - and include "organic" in the process? Representatives from processing and trade as well as from research gave input presentations on where they see starting points. The participants were able to contribute their opinions on an ongoing basis. The inputs from the plenary session flew into the subsequent panel discussion. After the event, everyone was cordially invited to an anniversary aperitif organized by FiBL.
