The objective of the study was to determine the carbon footprint, environmental impacts, and cumulative energy requirements associated with the production of 10 different phytogenic products for animal feed from Delacon Biotechnik GmbH. The calculations were performed using the life cycle assessment method which closely follow international life cycle assessment guidelines (ISO 14040 and 14044). To calculate the impacts (global warming potential, 16 different environmental impacts, and energy demand), IPCC GWP 2021 100a (V1.03), the EF 3.1 method, and the CED method were used.
