Abstract

The climate strategy for agriculture intends to demonstrate how agriculture can be aligned with the city's net-zero climate goal and the goals of the 2000-watt society.

Detailed Description

This project aims to answer the following questions for the city of Zurich:

  • Where does agriculture in the city of Zurich stand in relation to climate protection?
  • What climate protection measures are possible and necessary to achieve the above-mentioned goals?
  • How great is the reduction potential of greenhouse gas emissions, the potential  of possible carbon sinks and the energy saving potential of these measures?
  • What are the costs of these measures, what are the opportunities and risks, and what are the main drivers and barriers to successful implementation?
