International Summer School on Agroecology

Original titleInternational Summer School on Agroecology
Abstract

One specific objective of ISSAE is to stimulate scientific debates on the agroecological research agenda, focussing on emerging issues such as the contribution of indicators to the valuation of ecologically-based agricultures.

Another objective is to build the basis of a network involved in the international debate on interdisciplinarity and links between research and action addressed by agroecology.

The Summer School is designed for students from universities in Spain, Sweden, France, Belgium and Switzerland  who are interested in agroecology in their education and training (master, internships) or research (thesis). Master students or PhD students that recently started their projects are, therefore, particularly welcome.
The Summer School sessions will take place in July 2016, 2017 and 2018. Then, in autumn, "field trips" will be organized. They are also aimed at former participants so that they can stay in touch with the ISSAE community.
