Abstract

In this project, feeding systems of dairy cows are assessed on organic farms. Additionally, the feed value is determined and compared to the performance according to the milk control. With the acquired data, the actual nutrient efficiency on organic dairy farms is evaluated in order to optimise the forage-based feeding strategies.
