Climate change is one of the greatest challenges of our time – a complex issue that impacts numerous aspects of agriculture. In a new series over the coming months, FiBL will be capturing various "voices on climate": experts who deal with the complex topic of climate and agriculture will report on it from different perspectives and highlight, among other things, what organic farming is doing for the climate and what challenges need to be overcome.

The series kicks off with Lin Bautze and Raphaël Charles. They are two of the researchers at FiBL who are deeply involved in climate issues. Lin Bautze studied environmental and resource management and global change management and works at FiBL in the Soil Fertility & Climate group. Raphaël Charles is an agronomist and arable farming expert and heads the Department Suisse Romande. In the interview, they discuss the topics FiBL Switzerland is working on in the field of climate, the financing of climate projects and how some aspects of agriculture are likely to change in the face of climate change.
