Through a series of online lectures, experts from FiBL Switzerland and bio.inspecta AG offer an insight into the principles of organic farming systems. The programme covers all agricultural domains (soil, crops, animal and food systems sciences) and offers a unique opportunity to gain an overview of the concepts and practices of organic agriculture along with the associated scientific evidence and suggestions for further developments.

The lecture series is open to the entire FiBL group, associated institutions and project partners. On request, also students from other universities can attend (no ECTS are awarded, but you can receive a certificate of attendance).

Two excursions complement the lectures: The first one is taking place on the FiBL farm in Frick, while for the second one, attendants will visit the DOK experiment in Therwil.

The 10 lectures will be held online in English every Friday from 8:15 am to 10 am, from 1 March to 17 May 2024.
