ABIM marks 20 years: The premier biocontrol industry trade fair returns in October

The end of October is just around the corner. The Annual Biocontrol Industry Meeting (ABIM) is celebrating its 20th anniversary. This international event brings together the biggest names in the biocontrol sector. Taking place from 20 to 22 October 2025, the event will once again be held at the Congress Centre Basel in Switzerland. ABIM 2025 is organised by FiBL and the International Biocontrol Manufacturers Association (IBMA).

The trade fair will present the latest industry developments. With around 170 exhibitors, 90 posters, the launch of the "Start-up Village" and the presentation of the "Bernard Blum Award", valuable networking opportunities will be created, showcasing the sector's innovative strength. The use of artificial intelligence will be a particular focus of discussion this year. Over 2000 participants from 67 countries are expected to attend.
