The replacement of copper is a key priority in organic farming. The new EU-funded project “Innovative strategies for copper-free low input and organic farming systems” (CO-FREE; www.co-free.eu) aims to develop innovative methods, tools and concepts for the replacement of copper in European organic and low input fruit, grapevine, potato, and tomato production systems. FiBL is a partner in this project.
To disseminate information about the project and its partners, CO-FREE issues a Newsletter which provides a
- "Who is who" of the participating partner institutions,
- "Latest results", a
- Top theme" addressing in depth a significant aspect of the project, and
- "CO-FREE in the public" reporting on presentations of CO-FREE in meetings and other events.
The first issue of the CO-FREE Newsletter is now available for download at: Lucius Tamm, Research Institute of Organic Agriculture, Switzerland)
