From farm to plate – Networking and intergenerational communication of sustainable nutrition in different educational settings


The FeTe - project is a cooperation of the project partner organizations Thüringer Ökoherz e.V. (TÖH) and the Center for Environmental Activities (CEA)/Slovakia. Together with 12 pilot classes, two Slovakian universities as well as the Research Institute of Organic Agriculture a German-Slovakian project on sustainable nutrition will be carried out. The project partners in cooperation with pilot classes will develop and test target group specific educational formats within the project. Through its innovative approach, the project aims to implement sustainable nutrition as an educational topic in the project regions. Education and sensitisation of the younger generations in the field of sustainable nutrition and the sustainable handling of food should contribute to reducing environmental pollution and at the same time secure the life chances of future generations.
