Boden- und klimaschonender Bio-Ackerbau

Bisherige Erkenntnisse zu reduzierter Bodenbearbeitung sollen in die Praxis umgesetzt und validiert werden (Modul 1). Wissenslücken zu Treibhausgasemissionen bei reduzierter Bodenbearbeitung im Biolandbau (Modul 2) sollen geschlossen werden.

• Modul 1: Umsetzung und Validierung: Mit der Unkrautregulierung und Ertragsoptimierung im Fokus, werden in drei Regionen (Westschweiz, Kanton Bern und Ostschweiz) je 10 Betriebe mit hoher Ausstrahlungskraft teilweise oder ganz auf reduzierte Bodenbearbeitung umgestellt. Als Multiplikatoren teilen sie ihre Erfahrungen bei Flurbegehungen, Maschinenvorführungen und über Fachartikel und Blogs mit anderen interessierten Landwirten.
• Modul 2: Treibhausgasemissionen bei reduzierter Bodenbearbeitung im Biolandbau: Im Langzeitversuch Frick werden N2O, CH4 und CO2 wöchentlich und ereignisbezogen gemessen. Dabei werden der Einfluss der Bodenbearbeitungsintensität und die Art der organischen Düngung auf die Treibhausgasbildung, die Bindung von Kohlenstoff im Boden (0-50 cm) und die Zusammensetzung der mikrobiellen Gemeinschaften untersucht. Ziel ist es herauszufinden, ob die reduzierte Bodenbearbeitung klimafreundlicher ist als das Pflügen. Die Daten werden verwendet, um biogeochemische Modelle zu kalibrieren (DAYCENT).
