Sustainability Monitoring and Assessment Routine (SMART)

Abstract

While the SAFA (Sustainability Assessment of Food and Agriculture Systems) Guidelines were developed for the Food and Agriculture Organisation of the United nations (FAO), FiBL decided to establish a practical tool to implement them in companies and on farms.

This approach is called SMART (Sustainability Monitoring and Assessment Routine) and will be further developed and continuously updated within this project.
