Why do we need a new Organic Research Network

In June 2012, the International Federation of Organic Agriculture Movements (IFOAM) and the Research Institute of Organic Agriculture (FiBL), announced the IFOAM Global Organic Research Network.

FiBL’s Director, Urs Niggli, raises the question why a new international organic research network is needed now. Urs Niggli makes a call to action as organic agriculture programs around the world see a growing need to increase real-time collaboration. People are welcome to join a lively topical debate on this and other timely subjects in the new forum hosted by the IFOAM Research Network.
