Organics Europe Youth Event – promising programme on sustainable food systems

"Organic and You(th): Together for sustainable food systems" – that is the slogan of the first Organics Europe Youth Event. Two exciting and diverse days with plenty of opportunity for networking await you at FiBL in Frick on 31 August and 1 September 2022.

The Organics Europe Youth Event (OEYE) looks at organic farming from different angles. What are the opportunities of organic farming in terms of sustainable food systems, where are the hurdles that need to be overcome? Exchange ideas with young actors of the organic sector and other interested people in discussions, workshops or networking activities and develop ideas together that advance the organic movement. The speakers' and participants' links to the organic sector are as diverse as the programme itself: young people from agriculture, processing, retail, teaching and activists from all over Europe will enter into dialogue with each other over the course of two days.

Don't miss this opportunity and register for this unique event from 31 August to 01 September 2022 at FiBL in Frick. There is also the option of supplementing the regular programme by taking part in one of the three excursions on 2 September. You can choose between one of the following topics:

  • The role of organic agriculture in combating climate change  
  • Chances and challenges of agroforestry systems 
  • Taste the Waste: Reducing food waste and creating circular food systems
