FiBL Projekte GmbH, Agriconsulting Europe S.A (lead firm) and Asociación Española de Normalización y Certificación formed a Consortium in order to present an offer for the call for tender nº Chafea/2015/BTSF/01: Organisation and implementation of training activities on the organic farming scheme under the Better Training for Safer Food initiative.
The project requires the organisation of 14 training sessions with the objective of reaching a total of 425 participants, represented by staff of competent authorities of the EU Member States and selected non-EU countries (control bodies and control authorities) involved in the official control of organic products.
The main goals of the project are to further improve the knowledge of the control requirements and to foster the exchange of experiences, disseminate best practices and enhance uniformity for organic farming control activities and procedures, taking into account the lessons learnt from the training activities carried out since 2011, as well as tutors knowledge and participants involvements in the control activities.
