FiBL Austria - hub and service centre between research and practice

Networking between practice, consultancy and research as well as sound organic knowledge for consumers are among FiBL Austria's main goals and fields of activity.

With practice-oriented research and market development projects, FiBL Austria plays an active role in the comprehensive exchange of knowledge and in the networking of all actors involved along the organic food production chain - from producers to consumers.

FiBL Austria cultivates intensive cooperation with national and international research partners, with partners from the fields of education, training and advisory services as well as with marketing organizations and multipliers at national and international level.

Numerous projects are commissioned by governmental authorities but also by private companies.

FiBL Austria was founded in May 2004 as a non-profit organization based in Vienna. The FiBL team in Austria currently consists of 30 staff members.
