Biozertifizierung Indonesien

BIOCert was a newly founded Indonesian certification body offering certification for organic products and aiming for acceptance in the EU market. The project included an intensive training workshop and consultancy.

Objective of the training and consultancy: The certification body will be qualified to establish an organic certification program adapted to Indonesian conditions which meets international requirements.

Expected outcome of the training and consultancy:

• The certification body’s knowledge on managing an organic certification body according to international requirements is enhanced.
• The certification body is familiar with the ISO 65/IFOAM Criteria requirements and is able to implement these accordingly in its policies, procedures and documentation.
• The basic documents of the certification body meet international standards on organic agriculture and ISO 65/IFOAM criteria requirements.
