Efficient certification

The organic standards are under continuous development. With increasing international trade, the importance of harmonizing standards is also growing.

  • Further development of the Swiss Organic Farming Ordinance.
  • Further development of the international IFOAM Basic Standards for organic farming.
  • Further development of the international standards for organically produced products under the Codex Alimentarius and the EU Regulation 2092/91.
  • Development of assessment and evaluation systems for organic standards.
