Phytopathology

We are looking for practical applications and solutions which can regulate plant diseases in fruit, wine, vegetable, and tillage production. One of our research foci is the replacement of copper products in potatoes, pome fruit, and vineyards. In addition to direct applications of new plant protection products and new application strategies we develop techniques to increase the disease resistance of plants (‘induced resistance’) and to suppress diseases using microbial antagonists.
