About
The 10th Scientific Conference on Organic Agriculture ‘Wissenschaftstagung’ will take place February 11-13, 2009, at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology ETH, Zürich.
It will be organised by the Research Institute of Organic Agriculture FiBL, the Federal Research station Agroscope Reckenholz-Tänikon ART and the Department of Agriculture and Food Sciences (D-AGRL) of the ETH and the Foundation Ecology & Agriculture SOEL. It will be supported by the Swiss Federal Agency for Agriculture FOAG, the Swiss

The conference takes place every two years, always organised by a research institution with activities in organic farming research. The 2005 conference was hosted by Kassel University, the 2007 conference took place at the University of Hohenheim where FiBL had organised the 3rd QLIF Congress in parallel. For each conference proceedings are published. Coordination is through the Foundation Ecology and Agriculture (SÖL). Further information on the 9th German Scientific Conference on Organic is available at the conference website www.wissenschaftstagung.de.
The German Scientific Conference is the most important conference among German-speaking countries which enables the discussion and presentation of current scientific research concerning organic agriculture. As in previous years, the conference offers its participants the opportunity of giving presentations on current research.
