Purpose
- To provide a platform for the discussion and exchange of knowledge
and experiences.
- To support organic plant breeding programmes.
- To develop scientific concepts of organic plant breeding.
- To establish an independent body of competent experts to develop
organic plant breeding standards.
Methods
ECO-PB has several activities to advance its goals including:
winter wheat variety trials in several European locations; the
organization of an international workshop on organic plant breeding;
contributions to EU legislative efforts; and the creation of informational
resources such as a website and a monthly newsletter.
Results
