General conditions for animal health
Animal health is fundamentally related to the constitution of the animals, i.e. their susceptibility to illnesses, and to the environmental conditions in which they live.
- Research into the behaviour and temperament of dairy cows of strong constitution and differences between the former and cows of weak constitution under similar conditions.
- Establish an optimum size for loose houses to be stocked with horned cows and assess the impact of the relationship between man and animal on udder health.
- Improvements in the condition of the animals and the conditions under which the dairy cows are kept.
