- Emerson College/GB - Rural Development Program ("small scale intensive food production for developing countries")
- training in bio-dynamic tree-nursing (Germany)
- volunteer-work in organic agriculture Auroville (India)

• 1990s:
  
- project in social-reintegration of unemployed (Vienna/Austria) combined with development work (recycling of tools & machinery for projects in Africa and Eastern Europe); project-management in Zimbabwe & Uganda

• 1998 - 2004: installation & management of Austrian Organic Retailers Association VNOe
  
• 2004: integration of VNOe into new BIO AUSTRIA (Austrian Organic Farmers Association) and mandate to set-up services for organic special shops and organic supermarkets
  
• 2004 co-founder of Int. Organic Retailers Association (ORA) and IFOAM OR Internal Body; Executive Director
  
• 2007 BIO AUSTRIA: add. responsibility for service-agendas concerning direct-marketing and countrified processing
