A workshop on improving the organic certification system is being organized by CERTCOST on Friday, October 14, 2011 in Brussels.
The workshop will present results and recommendations from the European-funded project "Economic Analysis of Certification Systems in Organic Food and Farming" (CERTCOST).
The CERTCOST project is a major effort by 11 partners from 7 European countries (Czech Republic, Denmark, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Turkey, UK) in the period 2008 – 2011 to perform an "Economic Analysis of Certification Systems in Organic Food and Farming." FiBL is a CERTCOST partner.
