One of FiBL’s particular strengths is sharing its knowledge – in Switzerland, in other European countries and especially in emerging and developing countries. Several pages are covering the activities on knowledge transfer and international cooperation as well as animal welfare and the global food supply. There is also a feature article dedicated to FiBL’s interdisciplinary research on peas, soybeans, lupines and Co. – after all, 2016 was named the International Year of Pulses by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO).
