The successful production of organic products also requires that up-to-date technical information is made available in an appealing form to farmers. From the point of view of product marketing, it is equally important to provide consumers with information about quality and production in organic farming. This area is addressed in a number of FiBL projects by means of data sheets, technical brochures, training documents, databases and websites. Training is also provided for organic farmers, consumers and vets (focusing on issues of animal health, animal husbandry, food quality, genetic engineering, crop farming and nature conservation).
